the book is about dorothys parents died when she was young, so she lived with uncle henry and aunt em. dorothy and her house were swept away by a tornado.

then dorothy met the scarecrow, the tin woodman, and the cowardly lion. the scarecrow wanted brains, the tin woodman wanted heart, and the cowardly lion wanted courage.

in the end, everyone realized their dreams.

i like this book, because the plot is beautiful and it attracts me.

第一次读《小王子》，是在小学的时候，一下子就被他那清新的文笔和单纯的世界所吸引。五年后的现在，再读《小王子》，不禁一次次地流泪，为小王子那慑人心魂的忧伤而心悸，为他纯洁而执着的爱所感动，也为自己那逐渐泯灭的童心而哀悼。正象作者圣-埃克絮佩利在序言里面说的，他把这个童话“献给雷昂·维尔特，当他还是一个小男孩的时候”

这是一个属于成人的童话，属于曾经有过童心的成年人的童话，孩子们是无法体会小王子彻骨的忧伤和爱的沉重的。他们也不应该过早地体会这些，他们应该在阳光明媚的世界里享受着快乐的时光。这与其说是一个童话，不如说是一个悲剧。童话里的主人公总是像白雪公主或灰姑娘一样，幸福美满地生活。而忧伤的小王子却在发见爱的真谛后死在沙漠里。

小说的情节很简单，主要是从“我”的角度讲述小王子的游历过程。因为一朵美丽而娇气的玫瑰，小王子离开了一直平静地生活着的b-612小游星，他先后游历了六个星球，在这些星球上，他遇到一些他觉得很不可理逾的大人，狂妄自大的国王，财迷心窍的商人、迂腐的点灯人……于是他不断的感慨，“大人的世界确实奇怪。”在这里作者以小王子的孩子式的眼光，透视出这些大人们的空虚、盲目和愚妄，也道出了成人的孤独寂寞、无可适从的处境。

最后他来到了地球。在这里他遇到了一只狐狸，这只狐狸给他解决了那朵娇气的小玫瑰给他带来的对爱的疑惑，使他明白，爱意味着责任,意味着慈悲，有了爱(广义的爱)生活里的一切才有了意义。狐狸告诉他：“对于你使之驯顺的东西，你永远有责任。你要对你的玫瑰尽责。” “如果你使我驯顺了，我的生活就会充满阳光，欢快起来。我将会听出一种与众不同的脚步声。…….你有着一头金发，于是，一旦你使我驯顺了，这将变得妙不可言!金色的小麦将使我回想起你来。于是我就会爱上穿行麦浪的风声……”爱使人懂得了忧伤和痛苦，同时使人摆脱了孤独寂寞，使生活变得有充满情趣和意义。正象小王子对“我”说的：“这就象花一样。如果你爱上了一朵生长在一颗星星上的花，那么夜间，你看着天空就感到甜蜜愉快，所有的星星上都好象开着花。”于是作者明白，这世界上，一只小绵羊吃掉一朵花儿，是没什么大不了的事，但对于小王子来说，“那就如同所有的星星顷刻间都熄灭。”

the story is about ebenezer scrooge, a miser. scrooge always said about christmas, “bah，humbug”. he also didn’t like spending money and giving money away even more. marley used to be the partners with scrooge. unfortunately, he died 7 years ago. one day, maley’s ghost came to his home and told scrooge three christmas ghost would come to his home. firstly, ghost of christmas past came. he showed scrooge how he became a miser from a happy boy. then, ghost of christmas present came. he showed his employee and his nephew’s happy lives. finally, ghost of christmas future came. he took scrooge to his grave in his future and showed him his lonely death is the result of his mean and miserly life. in the next morning, scrooge understood. he changed his living way and became generous. he donated money to the charity organization.

i think it is a good story. it tells us to be generous and help other people more. to be miserly and mean only do harm to other people and ourselves. helping others is a very good virtue. it makes you feel good, make others feel warm and make others remember you. as so many advantages, why you don’t do this?
